Levonorgestrel Salınımlı Rahim İçi Sistemin Kontraseptif Kullanımı: Olgu Serisi

Amaç:

Marmara Üniversitesi Pendik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Aile Hekimliğine bağlı Üreme Sağlığı/Aile Planlaması polikliniğinde LNG-RİS uygulanmış olan hastaların demografik özellikleri, bu yönteme uyumları, yöntem sonrası memnuniyet ve olası yan etkilerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır.

Gereç ve Yöntem:

Retrospektif, kesitsel, tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmış olup 2013-2109 yılları arasında aile planlaması polikliniğimize başvurmuş ve LNG-RİS uygulanmış hastaların kayıtları taranarak tespit edilen 38 hastanın verileri analiz edilmiştir.

Bulgular:

Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 36±5 yıl olup çalışmamızda yöntemin uygulanmasından sonra gebe kalan hasta tespit edilmemiştir. Bizim çalışmamızda 2013-2014 yıları arasında mirena kullanan kişiler arasında beş yıllık devam hızı %21, ortalama devam etme oranı %76 idi. Mirena kullanmaya devam etmeyen 9 hastanın bir tanesi glial tümör tanısı almasından sonra, iki hasta fazla kanama olduğu için, bir hasta miyoma uteri nedeniyle histerektomi geçirdiği için, iki hasta ipi görünmediği için, iki hasta rahim içi istemin kaymış olduğu söylendiği için, bir hasta gebelik planı olduğu için çıkartmıştı. Çalışmamızda hem menstruasyon süresi hem de kanama miktarında azalma olduğu görülmüştür

Sonuç:

LNG-RİS etkili,güvenilir ve düşük yan etki profiline sahip bir kontrasepsiyon yöntemidir. Menstruel kanmada azalmaya neden olması ile kadınlar tarafından tercih edilmektedir.Halen birinci basamakta uygulanması kısıtlı olup bunun daha da yaygınlaşması uygun olacaktır.
